No Link Found with Wheat Allergy Risk and Early Cereal Introduction |

A new study from the University of Colorado and Health Sciences Center in Denver indicated that the introduction of cereal into a baby's diet before 6 months or age does not increase their chances of developing a wheat allergy. Although, there did seem to be a positive link between wheat allergy and the introduction of cereal on or after 7 months of age. The researchers feel that these results support current recommendations for cereal introduction between the ages of 4 and 6 months. Read the full story...
