Cake Decorating Contest for Everyone PDF Print E-mail

Cherrybrook Chocolate CakeCherrybrook Kitchen, May 18, 2007 - Cherrybrook Kitchen, producer of food allergy-friendly baking mixes, is hosting their 1st annual Cake Decorating Contest.  “Interested participants are encouraged to bake and uniquely decorate their favorite Cherrybrook Kitchen cake. Once their masterpiece is complete, they take a picture of their cake, log onto Cherrybrook Kitchen and submit their entry between now and June 1, 2007.

Open entry begins on May 18th and contestants will have two weeks to upload their pictures. On June 1st, all entries will be posted and the voting will begin. Visitors will be able to scroll through photos of submitted cakes online, and votes will be cast electronically through the Cherrybrook Kitchen website. On June 21st, the winner with the most votes will take the cake, a full year of cakes that is, provided by Cherrybrook Kitchen, along with a $350 gift certificate to be used on cooking and baking utensils from Williams-Sonoma.”

Cherrybrook Kitchen produces a wide range of baking and frosting mixes, all of which are made in a peanut, tree nut, egg, and dairy-free facility.  Their products and facility are vegan and certified kosher OU pareve.  They also have a line of mixes that are gluten-free.  This contest really is for everyone!

Obviously, you will need some cake mixes to get started!  They are available at Wild Oats, Whole Foods, and in many other grocers.  For ease, you can order them direct from Cherrybrook Kitchen, though a six-pack is quite a bit cheaper on Amazon, and eligible for free shipping.
