Two Days Remaining in the Menu For Hope Campaign PDF Print E-mail

Menu for HopeThe 4th annual Menu for Hope is nearing its final days of fundraising, but there is still time to get in your $10 donation, and chance to win the prize of your choice.  Every year, Food Bloggers from all over the world join together in this fundraising campaign for the UN World Food Programme (WFP). Last year, they raised $60,925.12, and this year they are hoping to match that success to support the school lunch program in Lesotho, Africa.  From Chez Pim, the founder of Menu for Hope: "We chose this particular program in Lesotho because the WFP is pushing an initiative to supply the program by buying directly from local farmers who practice conservation farming methods.  We help feed the kids (which keep them in school) and support their parents and community farming.  This sustainable approach to aid is something we believe in and strongly support."  Visit the Menu for Hope website to view all of the raffle prizes and head to the Menu for Hope Firstgiving page to donate.
