Annie's Gives Cases for Causes in Portland, OR PDF Print E-mail

Annie's Homegrown - Napa, CA - While on our Mobile Tour in Portland, Annie's was able to donate more than one hundred cases of yummy Annie's goodies -- including Bunny Grahams and our new cereal - to Zenger Farm, Ecotrust, and Portland Public Schools...

Zenger Farm is a classroom, an ecosystem, a community anchor, and a farm operation. The farm contributes land to a Community Supported Agriculture Program and they teach many educational programs. One program, Grow Wise Youth Education, teaches young students about sustainable agriculture. You can learn more about the farm and all their wonderful efforts at http://www.zengerfarm.org/.

Ecotrust is a conservation organization committed to strengthening communities and the environment all along the West Coast. They work on many programs and food sectors to build a regional economy based on social and ecological opportunities. You can learn more about the many programs from Food to Farm (Farm to School Program, Farmer-Chef Connection Conferences, the Eat Local Challenge, and much more!) to their own published Edible Portland magazine. Visit them at http://www.ecotrust.org/.

Portland Public Schools incorporated Annie's cereal into their healthy breakfast program and our Bunny Grahams are offered as a healthier snack alternative.
