Craving Cinnabon? Have a Bowl of Cereal PDF Print E-mail

Cinnabon Crunch CerealAlisa Fleming, www.GoDairyFree.org ~ For years I have been teased by the smells of Cinnabon every time I walk through an airport terminal or take a stroll in the mall. Completely off limits for dairy-free consumers I consider it a mild form of sensory torture. Yet, while those flaky desserts may always be off-limits, Cinnabon has come out with a breakfast cereal that is quite suitable for non-dairy dieters and those who want a slightly nutritious twist to their sugar cereal.  I am not sure what prompted the 180 toward healthful ingredients, but the new Cinnabon Crunch cereal has a completely legible food label and a relatively short list of ingredients that includes whole oat flour, whole brown rice flour, fruit juice concentrate, and Makara® cinnamon. Need more temptation? You can get coupons for Cinnabon Crunch and read our Dairy-Free Mom's Review on this new cereal.
