Cherrybrook Kitchen is partnering with Arthur & Friends. "Arthur, based on Marc Brown's best-selling books, is the highest rated weekday children's series on PBS among children 6-11.  Arthur has won numerous awards, including the George Foster Peabody Award, a BAFTA and six Daytime Emmys-four for Outstanding Children's Animated Program. Binky, one of Arthur's friends, discovered last year that he is allergic to peanuts in the BINKY GOES NUTS episode.  The program addresses many of the challenges that we have all faced with our own dealings with food allergies.  When we heard about this at Cherrybrook Kitchen, we immediately said "Binky needs to know about Cherrybrook Kitchen!" and thus our partnership was born."

Stay tuned for the launch of Arthur Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.  The box includes an original Marc Brown story about Arthur's birthday party at school.  The cookie mix will be available on the Cherrybrook Kitchen online store FIRST and then available in stores where other Cherrybrook Kitchen products are sold. They plan to introduce other Arthur products later this year. 

Cherrybrook Kitchen discontinues Ready to Spread Chocolate Frosting. "Cherrybrook Kitchen is committed to making products that are safe and of the highest quality. We have, therefore, made the decision to discontinue our Ready To Spread Chocolate Frosting due to quality concerns related to shelf life.  Please note that the quality concerns are NOT RELATED to allergens or food allergies, and there is no food safety concern. Additionally, our baking mixes, cookies and Vanilla Frosting products are not affected."
 
As noted, the Vanilla Ready to Spread Frosting will still be available, and they are working on an alternative solution to bring the chocolate frosting back onto the market.  In addition, they are considering additional ready to spread flavors, and welcome your ideas. Customers with Chocolate Ready to Spread frosting in their pantry should contact Cherrybrook Kitchen for a product replacement.
