Go Dairy Free the Guide and Cookbook Featured in Popular Special Diet Media PDF Print E-mail

Go Dairy FreeWhen Alisa Fleming began the website www.GoDairyFree.org five years ago, she had no idea how far it would take her. The then small website was simply born from her own need to live dairy-free. Fleming was certain the information she had gathered on a dairy-free lifestyle would be useful to some, but just how many came as a great surprise. The website is now home to thousands of pages of recipes, product reviews, news, and health information, and receives over 50,000 visitors per month. With growing demand, Fleming released an offline version of her work at the end of 2008, Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook for Milk Allergies, Lactose Intolerance, and Casein-Free Living.

Even with the website’s popularity, Fleming was pleasantly surprised by the widespread positive reception of her book. “I have received emails from so many different people who are finding both the recipes and information useful. Since the focus of my book is specifically dairy-free, I wasn’t expecting it to be so popular within the gluten-free / casein-free community and with vegans, but it really has been.”

In addition to individuals, Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook has been gathering kudos from the media. In April alone, two major special diet publications took notice and featured this up and coming resource. VegFamily, the premier online magazine for vegan family living, and Foods Matter, a UK publication (also available as an e-Magazine for those in the U.S.) dedicated to food allergies and intolerances released favorable reviews and sample recipes from Go Dairy Free in their April issues.

Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook is available via Amazon.com and BN.com. It is also available from international online retailers. For more information on the book or to contact the author, visit www.godairyfree.org.
