New Egg and Dairy-Free Cookbook Helps to Fill the Void for Meat-Lovers PDF Print E-mail

While it is true that there are hundreds of wonderful vegan cookbooks available for those who live without eggs and dairy, there are so few for those who are simply allergic to eggs and dairy, but are not seeking a vegetarian lifestyle. Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook has been bridging the gap for both vegans and non-vegans, but there is  a second cookbook out called, Cooking for Food Allergies Everyday & Gourmet an Egg & Dairy-Free Allergy Cookbook with Vegan Friendly Selections. The author, Libby Avery, has a daughter with severe milk and egg allergies, and she boasts 30 years of cooking for these needs.

The brief on the book is as follows:

Cooking for Food Allergies"Cooking for Food Allergies Everyday & Gourmet is an egg and dairy-free cookbook with numerous vegan recipes as well as recipes for meat lovers. This cookbook delivers recipes that taste like the real thing. Libby Avery's cookbook offers egg and dairy food allergy sufferers a huge treat. If you have never been able to make cheesy lasagna or create a decadent chocolate mint brownie, you will finally be able to know what it tastes like and if you were just diagnosed with egg and dairy food allergies, you will not be missing much for very long. This cookbook is designed to walk you through each step of cooking for egg and dairy food allergies. It offers a grocery, pantry and kitchen supply list as well as Libby's favorite substitutions."

We haven't yet reviewed Cooking for Food Allergies Everyday & Gourmet, so I can't vouch on the quality of the recipes, but the book contains over 200 recipes spanning the usual range of appetizers, salads, soups, baked goodies, breakfast, entrees, and desserts.

Cooking for Food Allergies Everyday & Gourmet is available to purchase on Amazon.
