What’s New for Go Dairy Free in 2010 … PDF Print E-mail

We are excited to jump into the next decade, and have so many special offerings planned for you this year:

New Blog / Website – Health never ceases in importance, but it becomes a top priority for many when the New Year rolls around. Whether you are seeking to optimize your own health or are caring for loved ones (and even little ones!), our next dairy-free website will spark your interest. We expect to have it ready for viewing in late January.

Free E-Book – You may already be aware of our Free Diet and Health Journal, but we are also working on a second free e-book to address an important health issue for many dairy-free foodies.

Go Dairy Free Guide and Cookbook Expands Availability – Our second printing of Go Dairy Free has arrived and not a moment too soon. As the distribution expands, you can expect to see this book in Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble, and Borders. Not in stock in your local area? Talk to a store clerk, they can easily order it in for you. If you are an avid online shopper, Go Dairy Free will continue in availability on Amazon and is also available for Kindle users and as an E-Book that can be purchased here on our site.

Keep reading, there's more ...

New Cookbook and E-Books – A second Go Dairy Free book is in the works. Alisa Fleming will be testing recipes throughout the year to bring you even more free-from recipes. Have a special recipe request? Contact Alisa.

Contests and Giveaways – Bigger is better, right? Well, at least when it comes to giveaways it is. Our attention will be focused on finding some sweet prizes to make 2010 a winning year.

New 2010 Product Lists – Our 2009 non-dairy lists will still be available for your immediate needs, but you can expect to see the 2010 version of our ever-expanding product lists beginning in February.

Recommendations – New quick links to highlight current popular topics and recommendations of books and foods we personally buy and use will be added to our navigation bar at left.

More FAQs – Our Ask Alisa section has taken off. The questions keep rolling in, and Alisa will do her best to share even more of her responses on GoDairyFree.org throughout the year. Have a dairy-free or special diet question for Alisa? Email us.

Site Updates – Our dining out, fast food, and retailer sections will be getting some special attention. Expect to see many new options and updated listings beginning in January. Have a favorite restaurant to recommend that accommodates your special diet needs? Send us an email.

Newsletter - Could it be coming back? We hope so. Both commenting and the newsletter are scheduled to reappear in 2010. Stay tuned!

More, more, more – We will continue to add recipes, product reviews, news and information with fervor. In addition to our own writing and testing, expanded contributions from free-from writers, bloggers, and straight from natural food companies will keep the content flowing at a rapid pace. If you would like to share a personal recipe or review with other viewers, send us an email.

And finally, thank you loyal readers for your continued support! We look forward to offering you all this (and hopefully more) in 2010.
