FAAN's Moving Toward a Cure may make food allergy headlines in the U.S., but Canadian want to find a cure and boost awareness too! As reported on Allergy Moms:

"People of all ages in Windsor, Whitby, Ottawa, Kelowna, B.C. and Bedford, N.S. are coming together this May to support their friends and family with allergies, asthma and anaphylaxis by participating in the annual Triple "A" Run/Walk.

More than 12 million Canadians currently suffer from allergies, asthma and anaphylaxis. The annual fundraiser hosted by the Allergy/Asthma Information Association is celebrating its sixth year with the addition of Ottawa to the list of race locations, made possible by the generous support of principal sponsor, King Pharmaceuticals Canada, distributor of EpiPen® epinephrine auto-injectors. Proceeds from the event will go to support allergy, asthma and anaphylaxis research and education. Last year, AAIA raised $20,000 for the Canadian Asthma Allergy and Immunology Foundation and the organization hopes to match or exceed that amount again this year.
