Apple… Meet Garlic: Yogavive® Popped Apple Chips Get a Sweet and Savory Twist with 6 New Varieties PDF Print E-mail

Yogavive Apple Chips - VeganYogavive® Apple Chips, the unique baked and popped organic apple chip snack that made a splash last year, debuted 6 new varieties at Anaheim’s Natural Product Expo March 12-14, including 2 sweet flavors and a new savory line.

In addition to their current lineup of Original, Cinnamon, Caramel, Peach and Strawberry, Yogavive® Apple Chips will get even sweeter with the introduction of two new crowd-pleasing flavors, Chocolate and Vanilla.

The organic snack food company also launchedYogavive® Savory Apple Chips, offering their signature popped apple chips in flavors like Cheddar, Ginger, Barbecue and Garlic as a healthier alternative to caloric potato chips. “We wanted to launch a savory line to give consumers a healthy sweet and savory snack in the flavors they know, love and are used to in potato chips,” says Michael Blicher, Vice President of Sales. “People are going to love the unique marriage of apples and are savory flavors!”

All varieties of Yogavive® Apple Chips are still made from 100% USDA NOP certified organic Fuji apples, free of added preservatives and are grown without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals, as well as:

  • Certified organic by the USDA and EcoCert
  • Fat-free with only 35 calories a serving
  • No added sugars
  • Peanut/nut-free
  • Certified Vegan, Gluten-Free, Kosher and Halal

Yogavive® Apple Chips are not only good for your body but for the environment as well. By globally sourcing their fruit from farms that use as little mechanization as possible, Yogavive® ensures a year-round supply of fruit, while providing employment and reducing the required energy inputs to make each fruit snack.

Launched in 2008, Yogavive® Apple Chips have established a loyal fan base of adults and children alike, and even a slew of health/eco-conscious celebrities including recent Oscar winner, Mo’Nique, singer Leona Lewis, and actress/mom Courteney Cox-Arquette, who called the kid-friendly snack “brilliant”.

Available in resealable 1.76oz five apple bags (SRP $3.99), and 0.35oz single apple snack packs, (SRP $1.19), Yogavive® Apple Chips are distributed nationally through UNFI, Kehe, and Nature's Best among others, and can be found at major national retailers across the United States and Canada, and online at Amazon.com
