Another Well Known Chef makes the Dairy-Free Leap PDF Print E-mail

Well...technically for the master chef known as Levana, it is more of a small jump than a leap.  Levana Kirschenbaum has been working specialty dairy-free dishes into her Kosher cooking for years.  I have a copy of her cookbook, Levana's Table (it is positively gorgeous by the way!), which is roughly 95% dairy-free.

However, for he loyal milk-free following, Levana has announced the upcoming release of her new cookbook, "Levana Cooks Dairy-Free!"  The release is a little ways off, slated for the end of this year, however, she offers many cooking classes to keep us interested until then.

Since I don't live in the NYC area, I will simply have to drool over the weekly class menus as they appear in my email.  However, if you are going to be anywhere near the area, check out her class schedule.  In honor of her recent announcement, next Monday (April 23rd) the class theme is "Dairy-Free."  Salmon quiche, apple "yogurt" muffins, or apricot mousse anyone?  MMMM!  If you can't make the class, I did spot the apricot mousse recipe in Levana's Table.
