This is a tricky one, since they offer no allergen information online, nor do they offer ingredients. I recommend speaking with the staff at the restaurant to see if they have the information available, as I wasn't super-confident in the response I received from their customer service. It was a bit disjointed. According to the Baja Fresh Customer Service team, the following items DO CONTAIN dairy: Sour Cream; Jack, Cheddar and Cotija Cheese; Ranch Dressing, Breaded Fish, Flour Tortillas. Most of their items are made with flour tortillas (including the tacos and the tostadas), but corn tortillas are available and can be requested. Also, you can order a burrito "bare style" which would be the low carb version without a tortilla and served over lettuce. Though it tasted "cheesy," I was assured that the guacamole was 100% avocado. Be wary of cross-contamination. Also, though not noted on their menu, they do seem to put a special sauce of some sort on most of the tacos. I was told this does not contain dairy (probably mayo based), but be sure to double check. See their website for a full menu. Last Updated: March 8, 2010 Quote this article on your site | Print
