Jack in the Box

We were not able to completely update this listing with our early January 2010 updates. JIB mails (yes, snail mail) out allergen information, so we do not yet have it in hand. Therefore, there is a higher probability that this list contains errors or is incomplete.

However, we have used our prior listing in combination with reviewing the ingredient listings from the JIB Nutrition Facts, dated 10/05/09. Since we weren't able to identify what components went into what menu items, we included the breads, sauces, and menu item components to help identify good non-dairy options when perusing their menu. Do check at the location prior to ordering though; they might have an allergen chart on hand!

No Dairy (Milk) Ingredients (use caution due to cross-contamination potential and some items may be prepared with shared equipment (ie fryers)):

  • Burgers - Hamburger w/out cheese, Hamburger deluxe w/out cheese, and Jumbo Jack®
  • Fish - Fish & Chips
  • Sides - Egg Rolls, Natural Cut Fries, Seasoned Curly Fries, Hash Brown Sticks, Beef Regular Taco, and Fruit Cup

  • Dipping Sauces - Frank’s® Red Hot® Buffalo, Tartar, Teriyaki, Barbecue, Zesty Marinara, Honey Mustard, and Sweet 'N Sour
  • Breads / Buns - Bakery Style Bun, Regular Bun (note: the mini buns contain milk), Double Bun, Jumbo Bun, Ciabatta Bread, Flour Tortilla, and Pita Bread made with Whole Grain

According to JITB's website, *all* of the chicken products contain milk.

Thank you for the note! These fast-food monsters change their ingredients so often its insane. We did a quick update, unfortunately dropping a ton off the list due to their new butter flavored shortening which may or may not have milk, depending on the day of the week I guess? - Always check, and never eat at these places if you have a severe allergy. Far too risky!
