Whataburger is a major chain in the Southern States of the U.S. They do have an online allergen search tool (see link below), but it is rather confusing, as it tells you what you can't eat rather than what you can eat. You can also see ingredient information on their website for all menu items. According to their website, it does not appear that the "bun oil" contains dairy, but it does have artificial butter flavor, so I would double check with the company if concerned. Their white buns do contain milk (used on most sandwiches). This is not a health joint by any means, loads of illegible ingredients here!
No Dairy (Milk) Ingredients (use caution due to cross-contamination potential): Meat - Pork Sausage Crumbles, Bacon, Pork Sausage Patty, Beef Patties (meat seasoning is okay; essentially just salt and pepper), and Marinated Grilled Chicken (bun oil used in cooking) Bread - Wheat Buns (bun oil used in cooking) Sauces - Tartar, Honey Mustard, and Honey BBQ Salads - Garden Salad Dressings - Thousand Island and Low Fat Vinaigrette Sides - Keebler Original Club Crackers
No Dairy Ingredients, but Fried in Common Oil with Dairy-Containing Menu Items: Meat - Chicken Strips, Whatacatch® Fish Filets Sides - French Fries Salads - Chicken Strips Salad Breakfast - Hash Brown Sticks Desserts - Hot Apple Pie
