If you don't have the chance to plan ahead, tell the waitstaff that you need dairy free food and the chefs cook everything separately and eliminate all dairy. They are fantastically accommodating and since the food is all fresh, it's delicious!"

Unfortunately for me, Ted's hasn't hit the west coast YET, but if you head East, you just might find one.  Ted's is in multiple states throughout the U.S., a locator is on their webiste.
