Twins Kitchen is owned and managed by twin sisters, and Twin Cakes is their dedicated gluten free vegan bakery. According to their site, everything is made from scratch in small batches using organic, local, and fair trade ingredients. And, also according to their site, "Our bakery creates tasty gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free, soy-free treats that are sweetened with natural sugars." Talk about a food allergy-friendly gold mine!

One of the sisters is also a raw food specialist, and can surely cater to raw food requests.

Though they don't have a walk-in bakery, you can find their sweets at the Mid-Town Farmers market on Saturdays from 8am to noon and the Southern Village Farmers market in Chapel Hill on Thursdays from 3:30-6:30pm.
