Having grown up in the Portland, OR area, I get a bit reminiscent whenever I see Fred Meyer hit the news for carrying natural products or being leaders in the real food movement. Though it is another supermarket giant, Fred Meyer always seemed special and different from the others. So I was pleased when viewer Alecia emailed in to recommend it:

Little did I know though how big this store has become. Fred Meyer now has locations throughout the U.S. (though still not in my state!). You can view their weekly ad, healthy living section, store info, and locations on their website.
