Dairy Free for Baby PDF Print E-mail

Jolene - We recently found out that our 2 month old baby is allergic to the dairy in breastmilk. He had blood in his diaper and I instantly panicked. The doctor said this is common in babies who have an allergy to the protein in milk and advised me to go on a dairy free diet. I didn't realize that his fussiness and gas pains were caused by the milk and cheese I was ingesting ...

It's been less than a week and he's already so much happier and pain free. Thank-you for providing a great website, I am on here everyday looking for advice and recipes.

Oh, on another note I have lost 2 pounds since going dairy free for my baby!
