Soyatoo Soy Whipped Topping (Vegan, Gluten-Free) PDF Print E-mail
This product report comes from Kathleen, a Go Dairy Free reader in British Columbia...

"For quite sometime now I have been trying to come up with a dairy free alternative to whip cream. I have tried many recipes, which are ok but also do not last long, they have to be used up within a day or 2. I have been doing this for my daughter who was born with a milk allergy and has had the blood test done and will not grow out of it. I do this for her not only because she is my daughter but because for someone whom right from the start has had a dairy allergy, she NEVER complains.

I have seen her look at whip cream and think that looks good...........but not say a word. I have emailed countless people about soy cream.....is it something you buy or combine ingredients to make? I have never had a proper answer so I began phoning around again to see if any of the markets new what I was talking about. Most did not. I left a message with one store( I live in Canada ) called CAPERS and they were very helpful but could not find what I was looking for. Until.......one day about 2 weeks after I had called the store, their manager called and saw my message. They had kept my message as they wanted to help and the manager was very excited. He told me that, that very morning they had received a shipment of a new product called "SOYATOO!" SOYWHIP. It is a dairy free whip cream in a can!!!!!! I was so excited for my daughter!!

I have to say that if you are looking for dairy free whip cream that will last and tastes good try this.........it is fabulous. It goes a long way when people care and treat you more than a customer! Go ahead!! ENJOY!!"

Where to Purchase:  Soyatoo is a German product, distributed throughout Europe, and in North America by Ceres Organic Harvest.  If you have trouble finding it in stores I have spotted it online from veganstore.co.uk (UK only) and Vegan Essentials (they are U.S. based but will ship internationally)

Thank you!
Thank you, I also have a daugher (3 years old) who was born with the same milk allergy and eggs and peanuts. She also gets the blood test every 8 months. I am so excited that someone has actually found something close to whipped cream. I bake everything and this would definitely help. Thank you so very much! You've really made my day!
