Juicy Juice Harvest Surprise (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

Juicy JuiceErika Waz, Kids Cuisine & Tummy Treasure - There was no way I was passing this by at the grocery store without popping it in my cart. I have been a fan of fruit and veggie combo drinks for years, so to find that Juicy Juice had finally produced their own version was a real treasure for me. I scrutinized the three flavors, Grape, Tropical, and Orange Mango, before settling on the Orange Mango. My children love mangoes, so if this juice was going to be a winner, mango would do the trick. According to the label, this was 100% fruit and veggie juice. One 8 oz. serving provides 70% of the recommended daily value of vitamin A and 120% of vitamin C. This particular juice contains grape juice, carrot juice, apple juice, mango puree, orange juice, and sweet potato puree. The sweet potato gave me pause and made me think immediately of baby food. Hmm. Would this juice cut it? With no sugar added, I was willing to give it a shot.

I sat down both children, poured each of us a glass, and told them I wanted to know exactly what they thought. My six year old chugged hers down and declared it delicious. My three-year-old son tried some and then asked for apple juice instead. At first taste, I knew why my son put it down. While the flavor is bright and tasty and wonderful, it has a texture that comes from the sweet potato and mango purees. While not much different than, say, orange pulp, it still seemed a little off-putting to me. Still, the flavor is a real winner here; it tastes distinctly of oranges and mango and would be an excellent addition to any breakfast or lunch.

Juicy Juice Harvest Surprise is just hitting retailers nationwide. Whether you are looking to sneak in some vegetable consumption, or just looking for a beverage alternative, Juicy Juice Harvest Surprise is exactly what you’re looking for.

:sigh
I had really fallen in love this the Orange Mango,
and even drank so much that occassionally my girlfriend would say that my skin had turned slightly orange.

But all of a sudden, NONE of the local grocery stores or WalMart carry the Orange Mango,
just the Grape and Tropical (and they are no where near as good).

Does anyone know what happened??

I contacted Nestle and they have discontinued the Orange Mango, the BEST flavor of the 3.
They said it was not selling???
I bought everything on the shelf everytime I saw it.

Maybe everyone needs to send an e-mail to them, and let them know to bring it back.
:cry
