Abby the Alley Cat - The Video PDF Print E-mail

Abby the Alley Cat Dairy-Free Children's BookIn addition to a physical book, the creators of Abby the Alley Cat: Staying Safe From Dairy! created a video, which is available for purchase. It is done in a Reading Rainbow style; the narrator reads the story while the camera pans in and out over the book's illustrations.

Our resident multiple food allergy mom, Barb Nicolleti,  had this to say about the video:

"When it comes to teaching children about safe foods, I am on board .  There are not many video's and books out there that are geared towards teaching children about food allergies.  Like many Dr Seuss Books, which I found the writer to mimic his style of writing, the material is geared toward preschooler's and kindergartener's.  The illustration is whimsical, eye catching and colorful which would definitely hold small children's attention.   This would be a perfect book or video when teaching a child who they can and can not accept food from.  A great read/video for children who are venturing off to a preschool or to a daycare situation.   The video is more for children around 2-4 years of age, as I did show the video to my 6 year old, and she was not indifferent.

I found the book to be a tad on the high end when it comes to childrens books, but for $2.99 the video was reasonably priced."
