Guardian Angel Cakes (Vegan, Nut-Free) PDF Print E-mail

I am a big fan of all Guardian Angel Products but their cakes are our family favorite.  We have in fact used them for the last few children’s birthday parties in our family.

All their products are milk, nut, and egg free, and they take great pains to test in their allergy control procedures.  They are a bit on the expensive side, but they really don’t taste like a “free from” food.

Their cakes include:

Guardian Angel Cake [upper right in picture]
Chocolate Passion Cake [lower left in picture]
Opera Cake [lower right in picture]
Happy Birthday Cake

They also have seasonal cakes (and other seasonal products) Yule Log in the winter season, and Maple cake in the early spring season.

Guardian Angel also makes cookies, muffins bread and Chocolate rabbits in the spring / Easter season.  All products are dairy, nut, sesame and egg free.  I love their allergen statement  “May contain traces of happiness” a may contain statement we can all live with.

At first you could only find Guardian Angel products in Quebec but they have moved into Ontario with plans to expand.

This is a third party review by Karen at Avoiding Milk Protein. Visit the Guardian Angel Foods Website for more information on their cakes and other products.
