Chocolate Inspirations Gourmet Pretzel Bites (Vegan) PDF Print E-mail

Crunchy, addictive, sugar-coated morsels of goodness - Yep, that about sums up the various flavors of Gourmet Pretzel Bites from Chocolate Inspirations. Little half inch salted, pretzel balls (not a typical shape you would find in stores) are coated with sweetness, flavors and spices for a sweet and salty crunchy treat. My parents and I were hooked with the very first bite.

Gourmet Vegan Pretzel Bites

They come in various flavors, and we sampled the following :

Horchata – Childishly sweet with a salty spike to keep it just grown-up enough. Good all around flavor.

Mocha – Fortunately for me (a coffee hater) this treat doesn’t provide a coffee-rich spike. Nor does it shout chocolate to me. It is sweet, salty, and has a deeper flavor than the others.

Caramel Latte – This one had more of a coffee flavor to me than the mocha one, but the caramel also really stands out. Sweet, yet rich. Good.

White Wine – I liked it, but it was odd. At first the white wine flavor seemed a bit too mature, but then it gave way to the taste of crunch berries cereal – go figure.

Fiery Lime – Now this is an exciting combination! A totally unexpected mix of that crunch berry sweetness, salt, and a generous kick of cayenne. Addictive, but not for the faint of heart.

Hot Mango – Strong scent that reminded me of strawberry shortcake dolls. Delicious sweet mango flavor gives way to a hot chili powder flavor and spice. Another good one for fans of heat.

Cinnamon Sugar – Since I am a cinna-holic, I expected this one to be my favorite, and it was. Nice scent and cinnamon bite – reminiscent of cinnamon toast crunch with a salty contrast!

Though I wouldn’t eat these daily, we enjoyed the indulgence and an assortment of these bites by Chocolate Inspirations would make a unique and tasty gift.

Note, these are dairy-free by ingredients, but like many products, they may contain traces. The people at Chocolate Inspirations were considerate enough to put this allergen note right on their website for the pretzel bites: “Manufactured in a facility that processes Dairy, Peanuts and Tree Nuts.”
