Please Note: This product was formerly known as Gak's Snacks
Now, I haven’t had Chips Ahoy in decades, so please take this comparison loosely … buuuut … according to my taste buds, these seemed a bit similar to what I remember of those popular little cookies. Of course, Gak’s version is far better. Certified organic and made with whole grain flours, the ingredients alone will put many moms at ease. Take that Nabisco! I must admit, I am a soft and chewy cookie fan, so the jumbo Gak’s cookies meet my standards best, but for easy, guilt-free snacking, these are pretty darn tasty. Speckled with mini chips these bite-sized cookies pack a crispy crunch, with a cookie-like indulgence. However, they are not overly sweet, a nice vanilla flavor lingered as an aftertaste, but no sugary-sweetness, which was nice. These really are perfect for an after school snack, or with a nice cup of tea to unwind.
Gak’s products are made in a dedicated kitchen that is free-from peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, wheat and dairy. However, important to note, wheat-free does not mean gluten-free. These cookies are made with organic barley flour. Don’t worry, your kids won’t taste the difference : ) Where to Purchase: Visit the Gak's Snacks website to purchase your own supply of cookies. They even sell a great cookbook and supplies for your own at home "safe" baking. Quote this article on your site
