HoneyBar - Peanut Butter & Banana (Egg-Free, Wheat-Free, Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

Please Note: This variety has been discontinued ...

... but, other Honeybar flavors are still available.

This winning combination of honey, peanut butter, and banana brings back many childhood memories.  It was definitely one of our top HoneyBar choices.  I loved the very chewy granola bar texture with crispy bites of glazed bananas throughout.  Beyond the obvious, these bars also contain ample rolled oats, crisp brown rice, coconut, and a touch of vegetable oil.  Overall, the bar was very sweet, in fact a touch too sweet by my judgment.  However, at 14 grams of sugar per bar, you are definitely getting good sweetness per gram.  Many foods are loaded with far more sugar, but don’t give you the good sugar rush that the Peanut Butter & Banana HoneyBar can offer.

  • Pros:  Great chewy texture with crispy bites; Wheat-free; All-natural and tasty ingredient mix; Cholesterol-free; Relatively low in fat and sodium
  • Cons:  A bit high in sugars

Recommended For:

  • Sweet Cravings
  • Peanut Butter & Banana Fans
  • Lunch Boxes

Where to Buy:

  • Online – U.S. shoppers will find all HoneyBar varieties on Amazon, Canadian shoppers should head to the healthy shopper.
  • In Store - Natural Food Grocers in the U.S. and Canada
