Organic Classics Chicken Cacciatore with Penne Pasta (Organic, Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

It is great to discover a food manufacturer like Fairfield Farms that doesn’t skimp on product quality.  Per standard, the Chicken Cacciatore entrée contained a wide variety of all natural, organic ingredients that complimented one another quite well.  The sauce was pleasant, just a touch spicy with a mild chicken and tomato base.  Tubes of penne pasta alternated with sizable chunks of chicken, onions, and assorted bell peppers.  It was very nice to be able to see and taste exactly what I was eating as if it were homemade.  The Fairfield signature of high nutrient value is also upheld in this tasty frozen entrée.  One serving of their Chicken Cacciatore will cover your recommended daily intake for 25% of Vitamin A, 50% of Vitamin C, and 10% of iron.  Diet conscious consumers will like the low 340 calories and 11grams of fat in this entire meal.  I liked that the high protein (22g) in the Chicken Cacciatore balanced out the low calories to keep me satisfied for longer.  There was one more pleasant surprise as well, a $.75 off coupon slid out with my entrée!

  • Pros:  Organic; Vegan; High quality ingredients; Diet friendly; Convenient; Good nutrient content; High protein mix makes it more fulfilling per calorie
  • Cons:  Portion size may be more like a large appetizer for active husbands

Recommended For:

  • Office Lunches
  • Convenience
  • Low Fat / Calorie Diets
  • Grazers (5 to 6 Small Meals per Day)

Where to Buy:

  • In Stores - In Natural Food Grocers throughout the U.S., see Fairfield Farms for a store locator
