I purchased this product on deep discount, as my local grocer was discontinuing it. Unfortunately, I can see why. This “just add water” dry mix is supposed to magically transform into veggie burgers. Alas, the dough was quite sticky and hard to work with. Once I finally coerced them into patties, they did cook up easily, browning in just a few minutes per side. While the texture was fine, the flavor was bland and slightly bitter. The ingredients listed dehydrated vegetables among the second ingredient, yet I couldn’t detect a single veggie … just flours and grains. While this product was a disappointment, it worked fine as veggie burger crumbles atop our salads, masked by the other more flavorful components. Yes, some Vegenaise, Lemony Dill Seasoning from the ladies at Vegetarian Express, and a dash of almond milk made for a smashing salad dressing (in seconds might I add!) that covered up the rather sad flavor of this product, for a wonderful lunchtime salad. Where to Purchase: You can buy Nature's Burger in stores, or direct from the Fantastic Foods website. However, if you do, I would also pick up a seasoning from Vegetarian Express and a jar of Vegenaise to improve the experience. Quote this article on your site
