Nasoya Chinese Style Noodles (Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

Nasoya Chinese NoodlesThere is something special about fresh noodles; so tender yet so fulfilling.  However, while I like Italian food, it isn’t my passion … so spending those extra pennies for an upgrade from dry to fresh pasta rarely fits into my food budget.  But when I laid eyes on fresh Chinese noodles, I knew that these would be special, and worth a small splurge.

The noodles were very, very long. If you opt to just cook a portion of them, I recommend getting out the knife and giving them a chop for a clean break.  They were seriously simple to make; just boil for three minutes and viola, a plate of authentic Chinese noodles. I made just one mistake.  The directions said to stir constantly, but I was apparently too impatient at the time. I paid the price with some serious noodle clumping. Don’t make the same lazy error I did; it is well worth following the directions, it is just a measly three minutes after all!

Once prepared, I tossed the noodles with a homemade peanut sauce from Go Dairy Free, and I wasn’t the least bit disappointed.  The flavor was excellent and the noodles were the perfect combination of pillowy soft and thick and hearty.

This product is kosher and all natural, prepared with just a few simple ingredients, including wheat flour and eggs. Nasoya also offers Japanese Style fresh noodles, which I believe have a slightly different texture, but I have yet to try them.
