Ener-G Cinnamon Crackers (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free) **Top Pick** PDF Print E-mail

~~ 5 Star Selection from Go Dairy Free ~~

This product was chosen by our staff as a top pick for quality and taste.

I confess, the top pick award for Ener-G’s Cinnamon Crackers is based almost entirely on my own vote, as I horded the whole package for myself!  Though I was kind enough to share a few (just a few) with my starving husband in the airport.  These delicious little crackers taste just like the cinnamon toast my mom used to prepare as a special treat.  Each cracker is topped with just the right amount of cinnamon (enough to taste, without overwhelming) and a very generous sprinkling of sweet sugar crystals.  Beyond the taste, what sets these crackers apart is their ability to fill the “snack food that qualifies as healthy while fulfilling a dessert craving” void.  Just five Cinnamon Crackers conquered my afternoon cookie desires, and only set me back 5g of sugar, 80 calories, and 1g of fat.  Amazingly, they were so sugary sweet that five was just enough.  Did I mention they have no saturated fat, no cholesterol, no gluten, no dairy, no protein (for low-protein seekers), 1g of fiber, and only 40mg of sodium per serving?  Be forewarned, though they look like crackers, the package I trialed would be better classified as wafers.  They were somewhat soft, rather than crispy like I was initially expecting.  Though it worked well with the cinnamon and sugar flavor, almost like a very thin piece of cinnamon toast.  Crispy or not, I wouldn’t change a thing about Ener-G’s Cinnamon Crackers, they are delicious, dessert-like, and guilt free!  Now where should I hide the second package?

  • Pros: Vegan; Gluten free; Relatively low in sugar; Low in fat; Long shelf life; Great for packing along for lunch or on trips; Excellent taste; Kosher certified
  • Cons: Somewhat indulgent for the pocket book

Recommended For:
