Late July Organic Classic Rich Crackers (Organic, Vegan, Kosher) PDF Print E-mail

Move over Ritz!  These organic, trans fat free, all natural, cholesterol free, vegan, kosher (whew!) crackers from Late July are utterly addicting.  They have an unbelievably rich, buttery taste that we couldn’t get enough of.  The light touch of sea salt was a noticeable bonus as well.  These crackers are ideal for both dipping and simple snacking, and as long as you don’t eat too many at once, they are quite low in fat and sugars.  Most importantly, unlike their aforementioned competitors, these gems use organic oils rather than partially hydrogenated oils.

  • Pros:  Vegan; Kosher; Organic; Trans fat free; All natural ingredients; Low in fat and sugars; A buttery taste for non-butter consumers; Attractive environmental packaging
  • Cons:  Made in a facility that processes several allergen containing foods (such as milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts); The serving size is noted as four crackers, it is likely that most of us would double this with ease

Recommended For:

  • Snacking Crackers
  • Lunch Boxes
  • A Medium for Dips

Overall Late July Review:

The founding family of Late July Snacks has extended their healthy conscious beyond ingredients with beautiful environmentally friendly packaging as well.  Our package arrived with a marvelous display of both boxed and snack size bagged crackers laid out on a bed of “hay” made from recycled/able shreds.  Although a freshness bag is still used, the product boxes themselves are made of simple cardboard material with a colorful, yet classical design.  We give Late July two big thumbs up for their attention to details.

Where to Buy:

  • Online - Directly from Amazon
  • In Stores – Natural food stores throughout the U.S.

They taste like cardboard, and always stale no matter how soon you eat them after buying them. :sigh
