Late July Organic Peanut Butter Rich Cracker Sandwiches (Organic, Vegan, Kosher) PDF Print E-mail

We had the opportunity to trial both the mini and full sized cracker sandwiches.  Both varieties have a thin layer of all natural peanut butter smashed between two Late July Classic Rich Crackers.  Although the taste was nearly identical, our food testers liked the minis the best for their “popability” and higher peanut butter to cracker ratio.  In terms of flavor, we hope to see these crackers overtake their main competitor, Ritz, on grocery shelves.  The crackers are delicious alone, and even better when coupled with peanut butter.  In fact, we would like to see more peanut butter!  These cracker sandwiches were dangerously close to making our exclusive list of 5 star selections, however, our staff felt the peanut butter layer was a bit too thin.  We are lobbying for a doubling, and if we are really lucky tripling, or the peanut butter.

  • Pros:  Vegan; Kosher; Organic; Trans fat free; All natural ingredients; Low in sugars, modest in calories; Great flavor combo; Attractive environmental packaging; Available in family size boxes or individual serving packages
  • Cons:  Made in a facility that processes several allergen containing foods (such as milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts); More peanut butter please!

Recommended For:

  • Snacking, Anytime / Anywhere
  • Lunch Boxes
  • Kids

Overall Late July Review:

The founding family of Late July Snacks has extended their healthy conscious beyond ingredients with beautiful environmentally friendly packaging as well.  Our package arrived with a marvelous display of both boxed and snack size bagged crackers laid out on a bed of “hay” made from recycled/able shreds.  Although a freshness bag is still used, the product boxes themselves are made of simple cardboard material with a colorful, yet classical design.  We give Late July two big thumbs up for their attention to details.
