New Morning Organic Graham Crackers (Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

Graham Crackers - a seemingly simple delight to find sans dairy. Yet, some name brands and generics do contain milk in one little form or another, and those that don’t tend to contain hydrogenated oils and / or high fructose corn syrup – unwelcome ingredients in my household.

Thankfully there are brands like New Morning around. Their graham gems (available in Honey and Cinnamon) are organic, and contain a short list of very legible ingredients like whole wheat flour, honey (sorry, neither version is strictly vegan since both do contain honey!), and sea salt. And not surprisingly, they taste a bit fresher and crisper than their overly processed competitors.

Cinnamon fanatic that I am, I went for the Cinnamon Grahams, and simply loved the generous dusting of cinnamon atop each cracker – so complimentary. I actually haven’t tried the Honey Grahams from New Morning as of yet, but if they even compare to the cinnamon, then they will get my enthusiastic thumbs up. Though I haven’t had brands like Honeymaid in years, I do think New Morning grahams (at least the cinnamon ones) are a touch less sweet.

The only drawback I found with this brand was the typical issue with higher quality food, price. They aren’t outrageous – I can find them in stores and online for under $4, but the price doesn’t compare to the super sales I see on generics. But, you get what you pay for. I will buy these in the future, especially with s’mores season upon us, but they will be a splurge rather than a weekly indulgence.

Here are a few ways I have enjoyed the New Morning Cinnamon Grahams:
