Kitchen Basics Stock (Gluten-Free, Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

By Barb Nicoletti ~ With fall coming quicker than one would think, school shopping has begun, thinking about fall sporting schedules and with the football season starting tonight for the patriots, it is hard to think about anything other than cool crisp fall days.

So when I asked my son what he wanted for dinner tonight, he said chicken soup.  Sounds strange to have soup during the summer months, but he wants it and the weather is perfect for a steamy cup of soup and some biscuits on the side.

So off to the store we went to buy broth.  I love the flavor of Swanson 100% fat free msg free  broths, but my mother-n-law stands firm behind Kitchen Basics Stock.  She said it has the best flavor, color and texture out there.  She has been making soups and sauces for many many years now.  I have had her soups and dishes made with kitchen basics and it was great.   These stocks/ broths come in many flavors and with a claim to be free of many of the top allergens.  I am not sure if they have this in your area, but definitely worth checking out.

I am the type of person to who sticks to what she knows works and tastes great, so I am a die hard swanson ff 100% msg-free all natural fan.  But change is not always bad, and this seems to be on sale often at our local markets.
