Quinoa Fruit Shake (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Soy-Free) PDF Print E-mail

This recipe comes from Northern Quinoa Corp., the manufacturer of Quick Quinoa Powder, and other quinoa based foods.

Quick Quinoa Powder

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup prepared Quick Quinoa [ 1 tbsp Extra Fine, Quick Quinoa Powder + 1 c boiling water – Stir well and let rest for 2 minutes ]
  • 1 ripe banana frozen
  • 6 strawberries frozen
  • 3 ice cubes

Pour prepared Quick Quinoa into  blender.  Add frozen banana, strawberries and ice.  Blend until smooth.

Delicious & nutritious!

If you like your shakes thicker and cooler, I recommend chilling the quinoa before using. It melted my bananas and strawberries quickly, even after a ten minute rest, making for more of a beverage than a shake.
