Hearty Granola (Egg-Free, Soy-Free) |

Ingredients: - 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup oat bran
- 1 cup wheat flakes (may use more rolled oats if you can't find wheat flakes)
- ½ cup wheat germ or ground flax seed
- ½ cup sliced or chopped almonds
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup chopped dried apple or prune
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 300
Combine all ingredients before honey. In a smaller bowl combine honey, water, and vanilla. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. Spread in a 13x9 in baking dish. Bake for 40-50 min or until golden brown, stirring occasionally
