Wasabi Salad Dressing (Vegan, Gluten Free) PDF Print E-mail
Make this dressing fresh to preserve the wasabi punch.  Wasabi loses potency the longer it sits.  Wasabi paste can be found in the Asian food section of most major grocers.  However, if you can find wasabi powder, this can be much more economical and it has a longer shelf life.  Just add water to wasabi powder until a paste forms.

Serves: 4 salads

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp soy sauce, or wheat free Tamari for gluten free
  • 1 tsp wasabi paste
  • 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Directions:

Mix soy sauce and vinegar in a bowl. Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add sesame oil and wasabi paste and wisk well. Cool the dressing in the fridge until ready to serve.
