This recipe is from Manitoba Harvest, the wonderful creators of all things edible hemp. They produce and sell hemp seeds, hemp oil, hemp protein, and hemp milk (Hemp Bliss)! The hemp seeds in this slaw add an extra crunch that will surely delight.
Ingredients: - 1/4 cup Hemp Seed Oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 3 cups red and green cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup red and yellow peppers, chopped
- 1/3 cup Shelled Hemp Seed
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 carrot, peeled, julienne with vegetable peeler
Directions: Combine Hemp Seed Oil, vinegar and maple syrup in a bowl. Whisk together. Toss with remaining ingredients. Makes: Enough for 2 Quote this article on your site | Print
