  • Fast Food Restaurants  ( 23 items )
The top revenue producing fast food restaurants can be found in most cities throughout the US and Canada, and in countless countries around the world. Although from a health standpoint few are nutritional standouts, most of us will find ourselves staring up at one of their menus on occasion. For this reason, we have compiled an excellent reference list of fast food restaurants and their offeringsClick on your restaurant of choice below, for a list of menu items prepared without milk ingredients, suggested menu item modifications, and dairy containing menu items that may surprise you.  When utilizing this information, please keep the following in mind:
    1. Cross-contamination of milk and other allergens is a big issue in fast food restaurants; those who are highly allergic should heed extra caution, avoiding these restaurants if possible.
    2. Ingredients and menu items do change on occasion. We will update this list as we obtain new information, however, it may not be feasible to record all changes in a timely fashion. When in doubt, always ask for more product information.
    3. We have listed the foods that were not identified by the respective fast food chains as milk allergenic. However, some of these products do contain natural and artificial flavors and colors that could potentially be derived from milk products. Although this is not a major concern, it may be a problem for those with severe milk allergies.
    4. We have italicized the menu items we would select if stuck in a fast food dilemma. Our staff places more value on “natural” ingredients than on low fat or low carb content. Keep in mind, this may be different from your objectives.
