LA, New Orleans – Palace Cafe

This is “contemporary Creole” food in a l ively atmosphere. They offer happy hour, brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, and even gluten-free menus. A special note on their site states, “We are happy to accomodate any dietary restrictions.” It was recommended to us by viewer Sandy:

I just went to New Orleans for our honeymoon and I found two outstanding restaurants that were able to accommodate my dairyfree needs and did so with amazing taste. The first was a Spanish restaurant by the French Market – Galvez Restaurant. The food was delicious, the wine outstanding and they had in-house sorbet that was completely dairy free. The second was The Palace on Canal St by Chartres, the entire experience was amazing from the drinks to the dessert, and all of it was dairy-free with ease. I loved both places and have rarely had such delicious meals in a regular (not specifically allergy friendly or vegan) restaurant. These are both on the higher spend end, and with amazing meals!
