NV, Henderson – China Spice
Finding good Chinese in Las Vegas is no easy feat, but this one is truly a winner. We have been there on several occasions, and the only dishes that have disappointed are the fried ones, but we are not really fans of sweet and sour chicken (found it very sweet) or other deep fried Chinese chicken entrees for the most part.
Onto the good stuff, all of the other entrees are superb. We particularly love the Sizzling Beef in Black Peppercorn Sauce, the Japanese Eggplant, and my husband loves all of the noodle dishes. They serve a complimentary giant bowl of fluffy white rice.
The prices are a tad high for Chinese in my opinion, the above meat entrees running around $12.95, but in Vegas, it is fair, and overall we feel like we are getting our moneysworth as the portion sizes are big. Two entrees with rice fed two of us for two whole meals.
The atmosphere is modern, clean, and slightly upscale but casual. It is located in the Green Valley Ranch Casino in Henderson, the major suberb of Las Vegas.
