Spicy Chipotle Mayonnaise

This quick and easy spicy spread is great on sandwiches and burgers, but we sometimes use it (or the milder option below) for dipping fries or dolloping on dairy-free potato skins.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (regular or vegan)
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon chipotle powder, or to taste
  • ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon salt, to taste
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and garlic powder until smooth.
  2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. It will keep for up to a week in the refrigerator.
Notes
Mild Chili-Lime Mayo Option: Substitute 1 teaspoon mild chili powder for the chipotle chili powder. Increase the garlic to ¼ teaspoon and the salt to ½ teaspoon, or to taste.
