My niece Kylie loved this smoothie as a teenager, and made it for herself often. She used fresh fruit, but you can use a frozen banana or frozen berries for a thicker blend.

Serves: 1 fruit smoothie
Ingredients
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ medium orange, peeled and sectioned
  • 6 large strawberries, hulled
  • ¼ cup blueberries (optional)
  • ¼ cup dairy-free milk beverage
  • Ice (optional)
Instructions
  1. Put the banana, orange, strawberries, blueberries (if using), and milk beverage in your smoothie and puree until smooth.
  2. Add ice, for a frostier treat, and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
Notes
Banana-Free Option: Substitute the flesh from a mango for the banana. Use a type of mango that has low to no fibers, like honey/ataulfo, keitt, or kent. They will blend more smoothly.
