                My name is Andrea Garza and I created FoodAllergyTalk.com in 2004 after I was re-tested and found out I had allergies to all of my favorite foods. (I had been allergic to milk since I was a baby, but was not re-tested again until 2004). I was devastated, but felt the need to share the information that my mother and I would spend hours researching.  After living with my allergies for so long, the website has developed not only into an information resource center, but I am working hard on forming personal outlook pages and videos that will give mothers and children a front row seat to living with food allergies, as well as how to deal with specific experiences that my mother, sister, and myself have personally gone through.

         FoodAllergyTalk.com was created for the purpose of sharing information, facts, tips, news, etc.  Food Allergy Talk has accomplished these goals, as well as the one goal that I least expected, but am most excited for; becoming a strong allergy community and powerful online network of support.  Here at FoodAllergyTalk.com, there are a multitude of opportunities for people to get involved, reach out, find information, help others, and ask for help with original and personal questions that they cannot find anywhere else.  FoodAllergyTalk.com is a dedicated online support group, and within minutes of visiting the website, I hope you can see that this site is like no other.  This website is a virtual location for others to unite and find the information they need, and to know that no matter what, they are not alone, and there is an entire community of people willing to reach out and help you on your journey towards discovering food allergies.
