    I would love to try this stuff for the first time as a new practicing vegan, I want to make pizza, enchiladas and stuffed peppers and so much more.. I love food and love this new challenge of cooking in my kitchen!

  22. Jennifer RobersonAugust 19, 2013 at 7:38 amReply

    With the shreds I would make some vegan black bean & corn burritos, with the cream cheese, some cream cheese swirled brownies, and with the sour cream & some cream cheese, maybe a cheesecake!! With the dips, it would be great with pasta salads! I live in a small town, so there are not many “dairy-free” alternatives here. Not many that are really good anyway. I just found out I was allergic to dairy a few months ago, and the transition has been hard. But it has also been fun trying out new recipes and I’m always looking for more ways to get my “cheese” fix. This would be a great way to help learn and deal with this process!! I hope I can win or someone who is allergic like me can win! Good luck to everyone! :)

      Oooh, grilled cheese with tomatoes on it! Who needs the tomato soup, right?

  35. Carl BeckerAugust 19, 2013 at 7:43 amReply

    I would make a GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH, plain — or maybe with a little basil, pepperoni & pizza sauce inside — or maybe A REUBEN…

    Something simple. Something easy. Something cheesy… (for a cheese-lover allergic to milk).

    Mmmm… Yum… Delicious!!!

  36. KimberlyAugust 19, 2013 at 7:45 amReply

    Being new in the plant based arena, I think I would try one of my many pinned recipes for lasagna or enchiladas. Quesadillas would be another contender. I’m already using the veganaise and love it! Will be sharing this on Facebook!

        I tagged her on FB when I shared it so she’d better enter!

        It’s also slightly less sweet and more that mayo gives me the chills in a bad way. Real or fake. Haha (;

        She actually loved mayo and doesn’t like Vegenaise much but has only had the original I don’t think she could dislike anything chipolte or roasted garlic. In fact I’m not even sure I could turn down something that was roasted garlic flavored (;

    With the Vegan shreds I could make my Webos Rancheros with Green chile sauce. I love added cheese to my eggs but sadly I can’t always since vegan shreds are hard to come by near the stores where I live.
    With the veganaise I’d top some corn on the cob a la Mexican style.
    Instead of butter I would use the Vegenaise and then some sprinkled chile powder along with a little bit of the vegan cheese sprinkled on. YUM!!!! So many possibilities with this giveaway.

    The first thing I would make with the Vegan Cheese Shreds or Vegenaise Gourmet, is to put Flat Stanley in the Cuisinart Press and make a tiny sandwich with a small portion of each item in the gift basket to make a tasty oozy sandwich, press it down, let the magic happen, take a picture, post it on the blog, and save the picture for when my child has a Flat Stanley project.

    I would enjoy using this great basket over a weekend filled with cooking and baking. I would make cream cheese stuffed coffee cake, 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwiches on the griddle, garlic Vegenaise red potato salad, pizza taco’s, which my son loves, and the chipotle cheese dipping sauce sounds really good with chips, guacamole and salsa. I must be hungry!  I have pinned this on Pinterest to my Products I Love Board.

I would also make a DF Oreo cheesecake with the cream cheese alternative & with the sour cream alternative, I would top a yummy oven baked russet potato…WOW! I’m really getting hungry now!

    I have a house full of zucchini and eggplant, and after weeks of ratatouille, I would love to use the cheese to make a vegan lasagna with roasted eggplant and tomatoes and zucchini pasta.

    I also picked up some heirloom tomatoes, pickles and vegan pesto from the farmer’s market last weekend that would pair perfectly in a panini with the panini press. For the Veganaise, I love mixing it with some olive oil, chopped basil and lemon for a green goddess salad dressing. All ideal for a summer feast!

    Ooooh, this is sooo exciting! My roommate has Celiac disease and I have Lactose disease (not a real thing but it does suck) and so this would be awesome for us!

    I’d probably make an breakfast panini with egg, turkey bacon or sausage and some of this lovely cheese on some GF bread that I found at an AWESOME patisserie in Portland Oregon… OR I could also see myself making a roasted pepper panini with some vegan cheese and a spread with fresh basil, garlic and veganaise… OR making gluten free cinnamon rolls and dairy free cream cheese frosting.. OR… or… or… yeah, the possibilities are endless in my mind right now!

    Some of these products are still new to me and have not tried them yet – my husband has to be DF and before that he was GF – I am still learning how to change and adapt recipes for the DF lifestyle and these free ingredients would be awesome to learn how to do that. Everyday I look for a new DF recipe that my husband may enjoy and perhpas it might taste like something he used to be able to eat – he is feeling better, but it has been a rough road.. Thanks for the opportunity to win free products, I love seeing a new post pop up in my e-mail and wonder what kind of recipe it will be.

    I have a newborn (& 2 other young kids) in the house. I’m most interested in quick meals right now, but with all the food allergies & intolerances in my household, sometimes it’s hard to make a quick meal that fills everybody up. I would make quesadillas using homemade gluten-free tortillas, the vegan cheese shreds, and avocado slices. I’d serve it with a side of coconut black beans, and I always cook our beans in kombu seaweed to eliminate the gassy side effects. It works! ☺

    • Alisa FlemingAugust 20, 2013 at 2:51 pmReplyAuthor

      Good to know the kombu trick does work Carrie, I haven’t tried it yet, but have been meaning to. What is the coconut in the black beans – oil?

      • Carrie LizAugust 24, 2013 at 3:23 pmReply

        Sorry, I just read your reply. The coconut black beans recipe we use calls for coconut milk. It has become our go-to black beans recipe. The recipe can be found here, http://wholesomehomemaker.com/2012/03/27/coconut-black-beans/. I am ever so grateful that I stumbled upon it several months ago. It’s always nice to find something that everyone can eat.

    So many choices. Its hard to decide. A bagel with the spread, sprouts, and tomato. Whole wheat deep dish pizza with marinara, veggies and the “cheeze” shreds.

    My husband makes his mother’s potato pancake recipe. They are more like crispy hash browns topped with cheddar/mexican cheese than your typical flour pancake. I so miss having cheese on my pancakes since I just found out earlier this year that I’m allergic to cow’s milk. I would definately use the vegan cheese!

    Is the giveaway still open?… If so I would would probably make my husband a tuna melt! He was just talking the other day about missing that sandwich now that he is dairy free!
