Recall: Ian’s Turkey Dogs, Undeclared Milk

Ian's Popcorn TurkeyThe USDA has ordered a recall on several Ian's frozen turkey food products. This recall was issued after several complaints were received in regards to an allergic reaction because of an ingredient that was not listed on the label.  Ian's Natural Foods is recalling approximately 12,894 pounds of frozen turkey products because they contain non-fat milk, a known allergen, which is listed on the label.  Read on for further details…

Ian's Natural Foods is recalling "IAN'S POPCORN TURKEY CORN DOGS, CRISPY BATTER DIPPED TURKEY DOGS" and "IAN'S BATTER DIPPED TURKEY SAUSAGE DOGS, PRODUCT OF USA" due to undeclared milk. The popcorn-turkey corn dogs were sent to distribution centers in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Texas, and Washington. The batter-dipped turkey sausage dogs were exported to Canada.

The products subject to recall include:

  • 8-oz. boxes of "IAN'S POPCORN TURKEY CORN DOGS, CRISPY BATTER DIPPED TURKEYDOGS," with the establishment number "P-19011" inside the USDA mark of inspection, and a packaging date of "07099," "07114," "07120," or "07173."
  • 8-oz. boxes of "IAN'S BATTER DIPPED TURKEY SAUSAGE DOGS, PRODUCT OF USA,"with the establishment number "P-19011" inside the USDA mark of inspection,and a packaging date of "07137."
