New 8th Continent Soymilk PackagingThis seems to be the year of the makeover for natural foods. Like so many other brands, 8th Continent Soymilk is getting a new look. The soymilk packaging will feature bright sun graphics, with a unique sun on each carton.

But what would a relaunch be without some sort of celebration, like a contest? Stremicks Heritage Foods, the producer of the 8th Continent Soymilk brand, is inviting children and their families to submit artwork in the 8th Continent Art Contest. Children and families can submit their own sun-inspired artwork at www.8thcontinent.com. Contest participants can submit multiple entries, as frequently as they would like, through 11:59 pm EST on June 12, 2010. All design submissions will be featured on www.8thcontinent.com in an online gallery where the public can rate artwork – from one to five stars – to help determine the winners.

Stremicks Heritage Foods will recognize 100 winners by providing $1,000 in art supplies, a total of $100,000 to their school art programs. Winning designs may also be featured on 8th Continent soymilk cartons beginning this fall. The number of public votes in the online gallery at www.8thcontinent.com will determine 50 contest winners. A panel of judges selected by Stremicks Heritage Food will determine the remaining 50 winners.
