Some adults and most kids will probably favor the Amazing Grass Kidz SuperFood selections as they are a touch sweeter. Unlike the “grown-up” Amazing Grass SuperFood powders, the tiniest bit of organic evaporated cane juice – each serving has just 1 gram of sugars – and a pinch of stevia are added to the Kidz SuperFood.
I like the Berry Kidz SuperFood simply mixed with water for a post-workout reward (just sweet enough for those heightened taste buds and it dissolves nicely) or mixed into smoothies to pump up the overall taste and sweetness.
Beyond taste, the ingredient profile for Kidz SuperFood is excellent. They aren’t protein powders, but rather amazing blends of raw whole foods (broccoli, wheat grass, pineapple, berries, kiwi, and so much more – seriously!), carefully dried and powdered, and useful as an antioxidant supplement, electrolyte, or flavor shot. They also contain prebiotics and probiotics, but aren’t as amped up in the supplement department as the Green SuperFood powders. I like to think of the Kidz SuperFood as a “booster”, like you would get at a juice shop.
