Well over a decade ago, I received an email from a chocolatier named Yochy, who had just started a dairy-free company called Premium Chocolatiers. You wouldn’t know it, because he stays mostly behind the scenes, but Yochy is one of the biggest influencers in the dairy-free and vegan chocolate sector. He’s a wildly creative innovator who’s always working on new varieties.
Over the years, his company rebranded, to become No Whey Foods. They also went completely top allergen-free, and came out with a big line of chocolate candies. But, they still make No Whey Chocolate Truffles.
These sweet truffles come in several decadent flavors and are packaged up for gifting … to a friend, loved one, colleague, or yourself!
No Whey Chocolate Truffles are All Boxed Up and Top Allergen-Free
We have tried some varieties of No Whey Chocolate Truffles, so I’ve included our notes with those flavors. But please do leave your own rating and review below when you buy and try this product.
Grand Marnier
The white chocolate coating is slightly thin, but perfectly smooth and sweet enough to enhance the dark, soft truffle center.
Ingredients: vegan cane sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, maltodextrin (from corn), organic brown rice (partially milled) , organic expeller pressed canola oil, organic safflower oil, palm fruit oil, flax oil, olive oil, corn syrup, pea protein, lactic acid (non dairy), sunflower oil, sunflower lecithin, triple sec liquor, tragacanth gum (natural thickener), tricalcium phosphate, sea salt, vitamin a palmitate, vitamin b12, vitamin d2, natural annatto (color), dextrose, natural vanilla, natural flavor.
Raspberry
The slightly milky, thick and mostly smooth ganache center has little raspberry bits of interest. It’s sweet and fruity, but not overpowering.
Ingredients: vegan cane sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, maltodextrin (from corn), organic brown rice (partially milled) , organic expeller pressed canola oil, organic safflower oil, palm fruit oil, flax oil, olive oil, corn syrup, pea protein, lactic acid (non dairy), sunflower oil, sunflower lecithin, tragacanth gum (natural thickener), tricalcium phosphate, sea salt, vitamin a palmitate, vitamin b12, vitamin d2, natural annatto (color), dextrose, natural vanilla, natural flavor.
Salted Caramel
The center is more of a caramel-inspired chocolate truffle center enrobed in a milky chocolate blanket. If you’re looking for a chewy caramel, try the caramels below. These are chocolate truffle first, caramel second, and garnished with sea salt.

Coffee
The center is soft, silky, and forgiving, with a flavor that’s more cocoa than coffee. It’s marvelously mild (for those of us who don’t like coffee), but has a definitive espresso notes.

When my husband tried this truffle, he said, “Are you SURE these don’t have dairy in them?” I showed him the box, and he still showed some signs of disbelief. The milky chocolate is sweet, and the soft, creamy ganache center offers a fudge-meets-whipped icing, melt in your mouth experience.

We deserve this
It can be hard to find truly special treats that are free of dairy, which is what makes these truffles even more special. They’re on the sweet side, but rich and fulfilling. Our favorites were the Grand Marnier and the “Fudge” varieties. My husband also liked the Coffee – I didn’t think that one was bad at all, and I’m not a coffee fan.
