Many years ago, I tried Tula’s Cocoyo and fell in love. It was the sugar-free, dairy-free, probiotic yogurt I had been seeking. I was sad when that product disappeared from the market, but my dismay didn’t last long. GT’s Living Foods brought Cocoyo Living Coconut Yogurt back to life in 2017 and has remained true to the product’s high quality and nutrition standards ever since. They’ve also been able to support Cocoyo with greater distribution and with the development of new flavors, like Peach Nectarine, Blueberry Ginger and Piña Colada.
Cocoyo Coconut Yogurt Comes Alive with 7 Probiotic-Rich Flavors
The clean ingredients, lack of sweeteners, and substantial probiotic count are impressive. But the uniqueness of Cocoyo becomes truly apparent when you open it. This really is a “live” yogurt that literally expands when you open it. It’s quite rich, yet the natural effervescence makes it light in taste. That’s probably one of the many reasons it made our Best Dairy-Free Yogurt list.

Yum Vanilla
I was starving, grabbed one of these in vanilla poured the jar over some organic walnut pieces and omg it was good, so good I ate the whole jar lol healthy $7 breakfast with almost zero sugar
Delicious experience
I enjoy the fizz and flavors. My favorite so far is mango. I’m looking forward to trying the rest. It’s unique and perfect.
Genuinely the WORST thing I’ve ever had
I’m sorry but I don’t think this is edible. It tastes like a chemical reaction in your mouth, then has a very pungent after taste. Kind of like kombucha turned into yogurt but way worse
Taste horrible
Can’t stand the taste.
Disgusting
First time trying it, Got one jar of the cocoa flavor and it had a couple of weeks before expiring…. I had just purchased it and it taste terrible. Fizzy like other reviews mentioned, sour and just could not eat it. $7 down the trash. Others rave about Flavor so very confusing, was mine expired before the date? If so this company needs to do a better job at improving shelf life or correcting dates.
Response from Go Dairy Free
Fizzy is the probiotics working. This is a very high probiotic, low sugar, fermented yogurt. It is more sour than other brands (due to the lack of sweeteners) and the cultures are live and plentiful, makin it fizz. I can’t say if your specific one had issues, but the things you mention are normal for this brand.
Love the raspberry flavor
Only issue is I wish it didn’t have stevia (gastrointestinal irritant) for those with acid reflux.
These are the best
These are absolutely delicious. A little spendy but well worth it!
Sour taste
This is my first time trying this product
I bought peach nectarine the taste was disgusting not sure if it was rotten but the date said it had about a month an a half until expiration
Delicious
So happy to find this! I hope it continues to be available.
Goes bad weeks before expiration date
I’ve wasted 100 of these jars. Great taste, but can’t be preserved for nothing. I have jars after jars with weeks to a month of expiration dates and I had to throw them away because they all have extremely sour taste. Very disappointed.

Just purchased this item, coconut CocoYo…what an amazing product. Tastes delicious, just enough tang, really great texture and consistency. I’m a sugar-free nut and really do seek out products that are true to the core! So glad to have discovered it, thank you to Plum Market for offering it as a special, yes this did work for me!

I don’t believe they use fructose, as this is a very low sugar product. But you will need to check the packaging, and/or check with the company. You can head straight to their website via the links in my review. Their website is http://cocokefir.com/.
